Zara Striped Sweater (similar herehere, here and here) //
Black Boyfriend Jeans (similar here, different color here)

Happy Monday everyone! How is everyone feeling today? If you're like me you probably consumed too much dip and sugar last night and the struggle is real today. Alex and I left the Super Bowl party we were at a little early to get back home so I could get ready to head back up to NYC this morning. I'm working here all week as usual before heading back down to Philly this weekend to celebrate Valentine's Day with Alex and spend time with my parents and high school friends.

For this outfit I knew I wanted to shoot these black boyfriend jeans for awhile. I bought them from Old Navy this fall and I've been living in them lately. I got the 'tall' length and they are just perfect. I love how Old Navy is offering affordable jeans in short, regular, and long lengths. They even offer long length pajamas and active wear. Total game changer, and no this post is not sponsored by Old Navy.

I found this sweater from Zara when I wandered in this weekend in search of this top (which sadly they were sold out of). I spotted this black and white sweater on the sale rack and for $15 I was sold. I couldn't find this exact top online but I found some super similar options that I linked up. Also, if you have a Zara store near you it's possible they will have it in stock, so it's worth checking! It's so cozy and not itchy, which is a total win in my book. I may or may not have worn it pretty much all weekend (sorry not sorry). I paired this combo with my tried and true Converse high-top sneakers, this pair I have had since I was in 8th grade. Not even kidding, they've been through a lot and have stood the test of time.

How was your weekend? Did you watch the Super Bowl? Do you have a pair of Converse? I hope everyone has a great start to their week!

  4. Great casual outfit, I love the Converses! I used to "collect" them when I was in high school but now I only have three pairs, but only really wear my black ones which actually need to be replaced. x
