Philadelphia: Dinner at Pizzeria Vetri

Tuesday, January 5, 2016

Happy Tuesday everyone? At least Monday is over and we can start getting into our routines and looking forward to the weekend again. On Sunday night Alex, my friend Lori, and I grabbed dinner at one of my favorite local spots, Pizzeria Vetri. This casual restaurant in the Art Museum neighborhood serves delicious roman style pizza, delicious salads, yummy desserts (including fried pizza dough you can dip into Nutella), and carafes of wine. It's one of my favorite spots in the city for an easy bite with friends or family.

Recently, Pizzeria Vetri was expanded and opened a second location in center city. Apparently Urban Outfitters corporation, which is headquartered in Philadelphia and owns Urban Outfitters, Free People, and Anthropologie, purchased Pizzeria Vetri from the Vetri Restaurant Group and is planning on making an Urban Outfitters store with a Pizzeria Vetri inside of it. We will see how that turns out.

No matter what, if you are looking for delicious pizza, a fun environment, and good times look no further than Pizzeria Vetri next time you are in the city. Have you ever been to Pizzeria Vetri? What did you think? What do you think of the Urban Outfitters stores with restaurants inside? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

  1. This looks delicious - so heading here next time I visit my fam! I'm def interested in what a pizza shop would like inside a clothing store? Usually when I'm clothes shopping I try not to eat too much ;)

  2. This restaurant looks absolutely amazing! I'm a huge fan of pizza and I definitely need a slice asap now. I'll have to stop by the next time I'm in Philly!
